Staff Farm Walk

Yesterday we made good on a 3-year-old promise to have a staff farm walk.  The bright morning sun saw a small group of us (we are 13 in all) gather for a coffee and tea celebration accompanied by cake before setting off to see the veg.  We returned to a hearty bowl of soup (leek and potato) and sourdough from the Field bakery.  Although I’ve walked every inch of these field for a few years now I saw things in a new light and felt uplifted and inspired. 

The people that work in a small business like ours are of course the most important asset and I feel genuinely humbled to work with this fantastic group. 

Invigorated by the experience, the next step is to invite everyone, staff and customers, to a similar day.  Planning for this is now underway! Watch this space.
