Knights Templar school and Little Vikings children's centre become a vegbox collection point

Watchet school and children's centre have just signed up to become a collection point for Plowright Organic veg. This means that parents and staff - and in fact anyone from the community - can get their vegboxes delivered there at a reduced rate. What's more, once 10 or more people are signed up to this scheme, we can start giving the school a weekly donation based on how many people are involved - the greater the number of people using the collection point, the greater the donation. This money will be invested into food based projects at the school, like veg growing and cookery demonstrations, so all the children there will benefit. We're really hopeful that this could become big - and that we can roll the idea out across other schools in the area. If you live in or around Watchet and would like to be part of this exciting project, please get in touch.
